JUDE - Financial Mentor/Whānau Support
Ngāti Pakeha (Tenemāka, Airangi)
Dip Tchg (Special Needs Education/Adult Education)
Tena koutou katoa. I am Jude Baker, retired teacher. My pepeha takes me to Denmark and Ireland (I descend from Fredericia and the County Tyrone respectively). I am the daughter of Lorents deVantier and Ruth (nee Dumbleton, widow of Ngaro Baker - Ngati Kopaki, Ngati Rangi)
I am a Mum, nana, aunty, Bestama (great nan) and these days call Moerewa/Whangarei home.
I have been associated with the Trust for the past 22 years and love working for the Trust. I have been a worker with Oranga Whanau programme and am still active as a budgeter/financial mentor/whanau support team.
I have also been on the Trust Board as a Trustee and Chairperson and I am proud of how the Trust has grown, moved forward and metamorphosed into the multi skilled organisation it is now.
The best thing about the Trust is the focus on delivering a support service for every person who walks through our doors. All people are magic!
